The pioneer of humidity-sensitive extract units for controlled ventilation

Since 1983, Aereco has been developing innovative ventilation solutions for residential and office buildings, with a key concept: the modulation of airflow rates according to need.A leader in humidity-controlled ventilation systems, Aereco's modulated ventilation approach ensures occupants receive the appropriate amount of fresh air precisely when and where they need it. By intelligently managing airflow, significant energy savings can be achieved during periods of low or no air renewal, which may comprise more than half the time.

Aereco's diverse range of tailored ventilation systems effectively address today's challenges in energy efficiency and indoor air quality.

Our mission is to ventilate in response to evolving building energy performance requirements.

In 1983, Pierre Jardinier, a former engineer at CSTB (the French Building Research Institute), was in charge of the SERVA air quality research laboratory. When, with two partners, he designed the first humidity sensitive extract unit, what was to become Aereco was still a small workshop with very limited resources, far from the 18,000 m² factory capable of manufacturing several million products today.

His sons, Marc and Laurent Jardinier, continued to develop Aereco over the next 25 years, opening numerous subsidiaries and partnerships with distributors in over 30 countries in Europe and Asia.
